MGAM was established in 1999 by Bank of America Leasing and Capital Group, as a lease manager for international aircraft and rail assets. The scope of Montrose’s activities has evolved over time from lease manager to advisory, to capital sourcing, transaction arranger and ultimately to active trader, lessor, investor and manager.
In 2009 MGAM became independent from Bank of America. Since then MGAM has become a profitable, niche player in the aircraft leasing market for assets with seating capacity from 10 to 100.
Our leasing services cover all aspects of operating leases, including new deliveries, sale-leaseback, refinancing and purchase of secondary market equipment. For investors and other financial institutions, MGAM can originate new transactions or help find innovative solutions to distressed assets or end of lease situations. For lessees, MGAM can assist in disposal of surplus assets as well as help locate and finance new assets as part of fleet development. MGAM has in-house technical resources to manage all aspects of aircraft leases, working with a global set of partners to efficiently provide bespoke services to each investor.
Montrose has managed aircraft in over 25 countries and has offices in London, Australia and Singapore.
